Promotional Giveaways at a conference.please help ASAP?

Can you answer toymama’s question about Trade Shows?:

Ok I am doing a conference where there will be several hundred Army men attending. I will be giving something away with our company logo and info on it. I want something they will keep and not throw away or give to the kids to play with. I was thinking of a mouse pad ( it would be on their desk in their line of vision) or one of the claw type keychain bottle openers. Would like opinions and/or other suggestions of something you have received and kept. I want something they are going to come looking for…unfortunately I need to keep it low in price. Any help would be great. Thanks
